Creating/updating documents in Appel

Merged starting point for create/update a new eRequest or a follow-up document (MR, NEC, IR; FR) is the page 'Search projects' (in order to know how to use the Appel Search interface, please refer to this document).
At this page, by default, all the projects are shown, and from here you can:


Create a new E- Request



  • Select the button 'Actions'
  • Select the type of request needed
  • Confirm the creation of a new E- request
  • Continue as usual, following the PDF workflow




Create a follow-up document (MR, NEC, IR; FR)



  • Refine your search and click on the project for which you need to create a new document.
  • In the document result list, click on 'Actions'
  • Select the type of document needed (strike through is a non-available option)
  • The chosen document is shown
  • Click on '+ Create/Execute'






  • Confirm the creation of the new document
  • Continue as usual, following the PDF workflow



create a new version of a document (revised proposal, modification request, …)

  • Refine your search and click on the project for which you need to create a new document.
  • In the document result list click on the latest version of the document for which you need to create a new version
  • Click on 'New version'
  • Confirm the creation of the new version
  • Continue as usual, following the PDF workflow


Ask for additional pre-financing

  • Refine your search and click on the project concerned
  • Click on 'Pre-financing Request' and (continue as usual, upload the filled in template and submit to ECHO)



Request a total suspension of the action (or a termination of suspension)




  • Refine your search and click on the project concerned
  • Click on Action and Select 'Request Suspension / Terminate Suspension'
  • Click on Click on '+ Create/Execute'






Change the contact information in chapter 12 (before Final Report stage)


  • Refine your search and click on the project that you need to update
  • Click on 'Update contact details' (continue as usual)




Answer to a Request for Complementary Information


  • Once submitted the Final Report
  • Click on 'Update final report'
